Forget Miss Congeniality—these days, Sandra Bullock is more like Miss Realty. The Bird Box actor has spent years accumulating a whopping 17 homes across the country, Dirt reports, with the latest including three properties in Los Angeles and Malibu that she is just now revealed to have bought for a total of $16.5 million beginning in the summer of 2018.
The first of this trio of acquisitions came in June 2018, when Bullock purchased a 3,700-square-foot home in a guard-gated Malibu community for $8.5 million. That stilted waterfront property, which dates back to the late 1970s, holds four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and offers private beach access. Though the interiors were slightly outdated at the time, they’re far overshadowed by the unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean provided by the home’s many floor-to-ceiling windows and the broad terraces hanging off the back of both stories.
Two years later, Bullock paid $5.3 million for another, smaller home in the same gated neighborhood. Located behind a red-brick privacy wall, that 1,300-square-foot cottage is painted a charming sherbet green and includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The home offers equally stunning views of the ocean from its own back terrace, which has plenty of room for multiple tables and chairs. The Oscar winner reportedly listed the cottage as a rental soon after the purchase.
Most recently, Bullock added a midcentury bungalow in the mountains above Beverly Hills to her portfolio for $2.7 million. The recently renovated three-bedroom home spans 2,800 square feet, with high-ceilinged living areas, a large eat-in kitchen centered around a marble-topped island, and a grotto-style swimming pool in the backyard, complete with a multi-tiered stone waterfall and nearby umbrella-covered patio.

Beyond these impressive real estate holdings, Bullock is also the owner of another spacious mansion in Beverly Hills and two condos near the Sunset Strip, plus several homes outside of Southern California, in New York; Austin, Texas; New Orleans; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; and, until earlier this year, Tybee Island, Georgia.
